What | Build Maine is an annual conference that brings together all people participating in the act of creating Maine cities and towns. The goal is to share best practices and aspirations for moving the state forward within the political and economic climates of today.
Who | Builders, funders, elected officials, engineers, architects, lawyers, planners, financial institutions, and rule-makers converge to learn cutting-edge design, planning and development practices. We have focused conversations with nationally-renowned leaders in the fields of street design, urban planning, real estate development, and public service, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge that attendees can apply locally.
How | This cross-disciplinary event is held each year in Lewiston, one of the State’s transitioning mill cities, where we gather a community of professionals and advocates together to explore ways to invest wisely in our future. This long-term investment of time and ideas in one of Maine’s classic mill communities has generated an influx of energy and ideas which has created an impact across the State.
