Irene is a multidisciplinary designer with ten years of combined professional and academic experience spanning the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design. Her range of abilities are diverse, with skills in horticulture and gardening; furniture and product design; construction; art and sculpture; and interior and graphic design. Her work for Principle frequently involves digital graphic representation and 3D modeling. Irene is a New England transplant from Peoria, Illinois, where she developed a love for Prairie style and Arts and Crafts architecture. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, a degree program that focused heavily on both theory and practicality in architecture. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture with a concentration in Urban Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she completed her thesis project redesigning the city center of East Peoria, IL.
